Close to my heart.
We always liked having things made in BB’s image. For one thing, it made up for the fact that there’s hardly anything out there for mixed breeds like him. It’s all about the purebreeds, like bulldogs, corgis, Golden Retrievers, and whatnot.
Over the years, we’ve amassed quite a collection. Pillows. Blankets. Clothes. Figurines. Magazine covers. Pokémon-style cards. And yeah, tattoos.
It certainly doesn’t make up for the fact that he’s not here anymore. But it gives us a nice reminder of how special he was and how loved he still is.
Happy 10th anniversary, BB. Until we meet again.
