Coming January 2026!

I’ve very happy to announce that my second book, Supreme Pressure: The Rejection of John J. Parker and Birth of the Modern Supreme Court Confirmation Process, will be released January 8, 2026 by Palgrave Macmillan. What a way to ring in the New Year!

This one took a long time for me to get going. In fact, I think it took three times as long for me to conceptualize, plan and commit myself to the project than it did for me to actually write it. Then again, I went through a similar process for my first book. Maybe that’s just how I operate.

I’m looking forward to seeing the final product. In the meantime, I’ll be releasing some related content on my website.
