This was a fun podcast for me. How two Texas lawyers combined their love of music and their knowledge of state law to find a unique way of marketing their practice.

I was a guest on the Nixon Foundation’s “Nixon Now” podcast, speaking with host Jonathan Movroydis. I greatly enjoyed the conversation. Thanks for having me on!
I had a great time talking about “Nixon in New York” with Josh Block of Bloomberg’s Big Law Business. Thanks for the interview!
An interesting podcast from the 2018 ABA Annual Meeting consisting of legal heavyweights Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, former Virginia Solicitor General William Hurd, Wisconsin Solicitor General Misha Tseytlin and Northwestern Law School dean Dan Rodriguez. And me.
I really enjoyed being interviewed by New Books Network (which operates under the auspices of Amherst College Press) about “Nixon in New York.”
I was a guest on ABA Journal’s “Modern Law Library” podcast to talk “Nixon in New York.” It was a blast – albeit weird being on the other side of an interview, for once.
Famed law blogger Bob Ambrogi recounts his unorthodox path towards legal journalism, as well as where he sees the legal industry heading.
I got the opportunity to host this month’s episode of “Asked and Answered.” I interviewed attorney and activist Paul Harris about his work stretching back to the 1960s. Harris, one of the radical “movement lawyers” featured in the cover story for the August issue of the ABA Journal, spoke about his work defending high-profile clients like Huey Newton, Leonard McNeil and others.
Recorded before Donald Trump was elected President and Fidel Castro died. Still, it was a fascinating discussion. And it was fun being a guest instead of the interviewer, for once. Thanks again to the folks at Lawyer 2 Lawyer and Legal Talk Network for inviting me!
I really liked the intro the Legal Talk Network folks wrote for this podcast, so I’m just going to quote from it:
For a long time data had shown that law firms generally generated more revenue than accounting firms overall. However, that trend has shifted within the last eight years with accounting firms enjoying greater fiscal success. What changes did the accounting world make that allowed them to surpass legal market revenue? In this report from On The Road, host Victor Li talks with Intuit small business ecosystem evangelist David Leary about the impact that embracing technology, adopting the cloud, and business innovations can have on legal industry earnings.
With robots already driving cars, diagnosing illnesses and, in some cases, performing tasks once reserved for lawyers, do we need a rule of law for robots? Fastcase CEO Ed Walters weighs in…
A fun podcast I did with ROSS Intelligence co-founder Andrew Arruda from the Clio Cloud Conference.
I hosted this month’s ABA Journal podcast on A.I. Not the movie (although I did sneak in a reference to another, much scarier film about robots).
