Chaos Is a Ladder?

by Unfrozen Caveman Law Writer

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, are given a chance to climb. They refuse, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

Manchester United’s tactics this season have been described as “chaos.” Sometimes, they climb the ladder and succeed. Other times, they fall off the ladder and break every bone in their bodies.

Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford and Thursday’s 4-3 loss to Chelsea were examples of the latter. United were leading in both matches deep into second half stoppage time, when they somehow managed to throw away four points.

So, look for us to give up 4 goals in the 100th minute this weekend to lose 5-4 to a revenge-minded Liverpool. By the end of this season, most United fans are going to feel like Littlefinger at the end of Season 7. Hey, at least he missed the monstrosity known as Season 8.
